Club Industry East 2009 Needs Volunteers!

Club Industry 2009 is looking for volunteers to work during the event in exchange for access to the conference sessions. We need a number of volunteers to act as Door Monitors during the event. Duties will be simple, but you must be able to work at the designated work times.
Schedule and Duties
- Volunteers will be scheduled to work the afternoon of Thursday, May 28 or Friday, May 29 from 1:30 pm – 3:45 pm. (If you are only available Wednesday, May 27 or Saturday, May 30, contact us; we still may be able to accommodate you).
- Volunteers will act as Door Monitors, checking badges, counting heads and distributing and collecting evaluation forms, handouts and CEU certificates.
- In exchange, volunteers will receive 1 free session ticket to the session of their choice (see Important Notes below).
- In addition, volunteers may listen in on the session that they are monitoring.
- If you are available to work on both days, you will receive 2 free session tickets.
- Individual schedules will be based on the overall number of volunteers.
- Date and time of the Training Meeting will also be based on the number of volunteers.
IMPORTANT NOTES
- The free session ticket may be used for a session on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday or Saturday. However, if you agree to be a volunteer and do not fulfill your work obligations, you will be charged the full conference fees for the sessions you attend.
- In addition to the free session ticket you receive, you may register for additional sessions/packages at a discounted price. Discounted prices are noted on the Volunteer Registration Form.
Travel
All travel expenses are paid by the volunteer. Club Industry does not provide travel reimbursement or hotel rooms for volunteers.
CEUs for Volunteers
Just like any other attendee, you may receive CEUs for the sessions you attend, including the one in which you act as a door monitor.
To Participate
Please contact Cristina Cotto to receive the Volunteer Registration Form. By completing the Volunteer Registration Form, you are agreeing to show up at the designated work times, including a 30-minute training session. Payment information must be included on the form, but you will not be charged for the free session unless you fail to work at your designated time. When you are not working, you are free to attend the sessions you selected.
